Becker Design Studio conceptualized, illustrated and designed a new ad for Ocular Therapeutix Inc.’s product, ReSure Sealant, ranking number 1 for that month’s issue. The report which announced the month’s advertising pieces, contains the results of an AdProbe™ Study, conducted by SIGNET RESEARCH, INC. using ads from the January 2015 issue of OPHTHALMOLOGY MANAGEMENT.
Ocular Therapeutix’s product is ReSure Sealant, a hydrogel that is used following ocular surgery that seals the surgery area to prevent leaks. Their current ad was not producing the results they were hoping so Ocular Therapeutix came to Becker Design Studio to get new and inventive ideas about a new ad campaign. After about 15 minutes on the phone with the Marketing Director, we had offered up a few concepts which included the idea of a fish in a fishbowl that had a crack which was leaking. BDS created some rough mockups which were reviewed and a particular direction was selected by Ocular Therapeutix. We completed the final ad which was submitted into an industry standard publication, Ophthalmology Management.
Once published, the ad was ranked by the AdProbe Study at the end of January 2015. Our ad was ranked number 1 overall. Additional statistics of its success are shown from the report.
Additional marketing materials were created by re-purposing the ad because it was so well accepted. This ad has been a great success for Ocular Therapeutix as well as for Becker Design Studio. We enjoy creating designs and illustrations that get our clients noticed.
